Around the house, there should be a box with a couple flashing lights, this is known as your Router 3.Your Router Should have a Brand-name ex. Dlink 4.Somewhere on the router there should be a Serial Number Ex. SCW475E32 5. Search for your Router Brand in the bold letters 6.Once you Find the brand, look for the serial number (See step 4) 7.Click on the serial Number and follow the directions from here PS:If It doesn't have directions, too bad bub --- End quote --- Now that's kind of mean. I'm not a total handicap. |

If you guys still can't host you did it wrong. I didn't set up a static IP for my port forwarding. |

why does everyone need so many steps. no matter what kind of router you have, enter it and find the port forwarding tab. its done the same way no matter what you use. |

i think where everyone is messing up is; the part where you type in that last line of the local IP your comp was assigned. that last .1 or .2 or whatever comp you are on your network. this cant be told to you from any tutorial, you gotta figure out what you been assigned yourself. |

Most issues occur from the fact that your router's firmware is not updated. This happened to me as soon as a firmware update came out and I ignored it. |
