When a variable and a number are touching each other in algebra. You multiply them. So, you need to figure out what the letters are in-order to get the right answer. inb4 "When two numbers like each other alot! They get together and.." |

Equations are easier if you think of them as a scale. If you take numbers from one side, you have to put the same amount on the other or it won't stay equal. For these, you just divide both sides of the equation by the number next to the variable. |
