--- Quote from: xXMenenXx on August 18, 2009, 08:41:55 PM ---A Man has a Chicken, a Fox and a Bag of Wheat. He has to get all 3 across a large, deep river. However, the boat is small and can only carry himself and 1 of the 3 things across per trip. If he leaves the Fox with the chicken the fox will eat the chicken and if he leaves the Bag od Wheat with the chicken the chicken will eat it. How does he get all 3 across the river?
<He cant do anything else besides use the boat so dont say 'Build a bridge" or something handicapped like that>
--- End quote ---
To answer this seriously, he takes the chicken first, goes back for the fox and takes the chicken back. Then he takes the wheat, leaving the chicken, then goes back forhim after dropping the wheat off with the fox, he goes back to pick up the chicken.
