My dedicated server wont work.

Big Brother:

I can host, and people can come to my server. But whenever I start a dedicated server, it's dead. If anybody can take me through making a dedicated server properly, that would help.
And the dedicated console usually says: 'Try hosting a non-dedicated server before hosting a dedicated one'

It says that in the dedicated console as I'm hosting a non-dedi.

If anybody can help, that would be great.

Oh, it works now. I just started a server at the same time as opening the dedicated server, then when both of them were done, I closed the non-dedicated.
