LAN game
zenloth:
The system has changed quite a few times since I joined Blockland.
When I started it was 28000-28030
Then I think V9 made it 28000-28032 (or more for more server slots)
and I think now adays its just open the amount of ports you want players. So if you want 50 players and the server to appear alive to do 28000-28050 (I think)
whoremoan:
The reason I opened those ports is because that's what it says in the help box that pops up when you first try to make an internet game.
I've also just disabled the firewall on both PC's too and that made no difference.
**Tingalz** yes both PC's have separate IP's in the same IP range.
zenloth:
Just going to check the obvious are you using the Query LAN function?
whoremoan:
Yeah, I am using Query LAN and I can see the server no problems.
Also when I set up an internet game, I can use Query Internet and I can see my server in the list.
zenloth:
You wont be able to, it is still on your lan then, even though it is an internet game.
