I find it quite standard. For the new IE it's like Microsoft said, "forget it, let's have them relearn our stuff again".

I haven't been using IE, I wouldn't know. Chrome has 6 buttons.

An interface doesn't necessarily have to look pretty, but be user friendly. Microsoft seems to through that last part out the window a lot. I haven't really used Google Chrome, so I can't comment on it. Usually Google's software has a high quality and tries to meet the needs of the user, so I imagine Chrome is user friendly.

Minimalism is as friendly as it gets. It's a bulletproof design.

Also does it have a thing where you can see all the saved passwords? I don't remember there being one.
And do they any different skins/themes? Dark looking ones are nice.
