Using my horrible math/physics skills(as I haven't taken physics yet), it would take about 20 seconds to fall 3500 feet. This is assuming that after 6 seconds, he'll maintain a velocity of 58.8m/s. But don't take my word for granted, I did some stuffty math, as in I don't have all the variables or whatever so forget it.
