I frequented Toronto a few times in 2007-2008 and it was no different than Minneapolis was for me. Only slightly warmer because it's actually farther south on the lines of longitude than I am. Same slums, same diverse ethnicity same crap for sale, only more expensive. (and yes I am accounting for currency exchange, that costs a stuff ton in itself so it was more expensive)
