The difference between a "Newb" and a "Noob"
Niliscro:
--- Quote from: Caution on August 24, 2009, 11:28:10 PM ---For some reason, I hate the word "noob." I much prefer words like "idiot".

The only time I've called someone a noob is if they are indeed one and accusing someone else of being one. I can't say I use it as an insult outside of that. I must agree; the word noob is idiotic, barbaric, and just plain fugly.

Agreed. It's not a word, why try and feign it?
Newb isn't either, but it's quicker than "new guy."
Although more likely to be taken offensively.

Oh dear.
Honey! I've found another one!
