How to create a server on a Mac????

So i have been wanting to create a server for a long time now but when i try to do it, it says the servers dead and i even forwarded the ports.  Any help would be nice.  Thank You

You do it pretty much the same way on a mac as you would on a pc.

If you're using DSL, try port-forwarding again. I didn't need to change anything on the computer itself when I did it, just the DSL.
