My computers power supply is officially dead. I replugged in the dvd drive to see if it would work still, and it didn't. Unplugged it again, and it's still beeping power error. One more retry, and if it still won't work I'll buy that 650w PSU. |

That's what I did, it worked great for years until I junked that computer. |

That's what I did, it worked great for years until I junked that computer. --- End quote --- Unfortunately the only power supplies available have 20 pin main connectors, not 20+4 or 24, and they aren't ATX12V, even worse is they are 250/300 watts, mainly they're office computer power supplies. I put the clock multiplier for the cpu back to 10, leaving it at 2.66 GHz. |
