it can go both ways. If a scout gets close enough to land 2 or 3 scatter shots, he might be able to win. But if the pyros burns him fast enough....well yeah. same with 2 snipers

spy: get cloak and dagger as quick as you can, Stand in corner until somebody comes near and stops moving, backstab.
or without C&D, Invis yourself into enemy area and look for the a person who is not active in that area and disquise as them.
engi: put down sentry, Hit with wrench. If possible build in corner so can't be back stabbed so easy.
