"Allah" is Arabic for "god". It has virtually nothing to do with Islam. Muslims call "god" "Allah" because the Qur’an can only be legitimately read in Arabic. Even people who speak Arabic and are not Muslim say "Allah", it's a part of speech, much like Bhagwan, Shen, Shangdi, Diu, Gut, Teun, or Gott.
