How do you make a server dedicated?

Also, if, say, you want to be on Slate, you have to Edit the dedicated.bat file and replace bedroom with whatever map you want.

My dedicated servers don't show up in the LAN part.
Zloff, just find your server in the Query Internet part of Join Game
