I'd hate to be the only one jumping into the fire, but personally I somewhat agree with the original poster. (His word choice however leaves much to be desired. Also if he would have given us his reasons, that would have been great.)

Maybe my conception is completely wrong, since internet personalities aren't the same as actual personalities, but pretty much the only time I see badspot post is when he has something negative to say. Then again, a few of my friends are complete starfishs as well. If someone's a richard, usually people won't care until he's a richard to them in particular.

I pretty much only check out the off topic section, But after looking through his recent posts you seem right about him helping people. Nevertheless, what I usually see badspot post indicates otherwise.

The only reason people assume Badspot is a richard is because they did something stupid, got punished for it, and are now on a rampage to discredit someone for simply keeping the forums a decent place to go to. Don't be an idiot and he won't bug you. Simple as that.
