If you want to keep the xbox safe stand it up and keep it away from heat like TVs, air vents, windows, etc. Been doing this to my xbox for 2 years never scratched a disk

You scratch your discs by moving the xbox while the disc is spinning. I don't imagine heat has anything to do with it.

Actually you should keep it horizontal, having it vertical blocks some of the holes.

It also adds to the possibility to scratch your disk. My old xbox 360 got one red light 3 times until I got a new xbox.

The Wii is better.
Lasts the longest like all Nintendo products.
And only use 1\8 power as the Xbox or PS3.
I personally think the PS3 is the worst.
