$Recycle.Bin isnt the same as just going into your recycling bin You have to enable that viewing hidden files and folders thing and then go to C:\$Recycle.Bin and delete that file. Ive had a virus before that was hidden inside $Recycle.Bin and I and had to manually delete it |

I enabled hidden folders and didn't see it. I'll search around and see what comes up. I just don't want to delete that file and end up breaking my computer. :| |

I did a little fishing and there is a virus that is known to hide in the recycle bin W32/SirCam@MM but I see no mention of it stopping scans. However many anti viruses have the recycle bin on their scan exclusion list and that may be the problem. |
