My virus scan is still stuck.

You might wanna call Microsoft for your last resort. That's all I got.

Good luck, Reg.
BobSevenSevens:
Call Microsoft and ask how to get into the super-hidden files.
Regulith:
Bump.

It's not really a big problem, one I would call someone about, but I just want to fix it.

Maybe it's time to ditch McAfee, I know you paid for it but really, if it's not working, congratulations you've been ripped off. You can now be angry with McAfee.

My parents have Mcafee and I recently just spent 10 hours last weekend rooting out all the malware that was loving their stuff up.

The anti viruses I use are:
IOBit security 360 (I have this running all the times because it has all those nice resident shielding programs found on things like Mcafee but without all the annoying bullstuff)

Malewarebytes Anti-Malware (half of the time you consult a tech forum with a virus problem this is what they tell you to scan with, it just works)

When my spider senses get tingly and i think the above may have missed something after a full scan, that something is always found by:
SUPER Anti Spyware free addition

You should also consider searching for rootkits, there are utilities that can do this available (free) online however I'm not the one to tell you how to use them. The stuff can get tricky and removing a false positive can mess up your system.

Regulith:
Alright, thanks. I might just do that.

I already have Malwarebytes and I just downloaded IOBit.

I'll leave this open in case anyone has anything else to say.
