--- Quote from: Regulith on September 01, 2009, 03:28:03 AM ---It robs kids of fun (and some not-so-fun) memories. "Did you have a crush on anyone at school when you were young?" "I didn't go to school." "Who was your meanest teacher?" "My dad." etc. etc. --- End quote --- Well, if you're homeschooled it doesn't mean you're in the house all the time; Speaking for myself. I do have a social life and I am homeschooled. Just because I'm homeschooled doesn't mean my entire life consists of sitting in my house doing nothing but stuff, piss, eat and sleep. I've had real-life crushes (Not on the T.V. etc.), I have friends that aren't just from some church group, I go places. Even though being in public school might have it's advantages, being homeschooled doesn't mean you don't have a social life. |

Because, if not, that's a bit drastic, don't you think? --- End quote --- I don't like people In general, so home schooled ones join the rest on my list of people I don't like. That's said I've never met someone that was home schooled that impressed me, few of them did seem to have better academic abilities than the norm but it was totally offset by their utter lack of social skills. |

One of my friends when I was younger lived right behind my house, and him and his two brothers were home schooled. When he eventually went to middle school, he was a grade higher than me, even though we were the same age. |
