I was homeschooled for a good half of my freshman year of High School, and I enjoyed it. I go to one of the best high schools in the nation, so don't say that it was the school being stuffty that made homeschooling superior.

I don't blame schools, only the occasion stuffty teacher. What courses did you take and why did you stop homeschooling?

Inv3rted:

I was homeschooled temporarily because I could not be in school. We can't afford a private tutor, so that's why I stopped. I just took the courses that I would have taken in school, but I know that homeschooling gives you more freedom about how you go about this. The type I had was more rigid than regular homeschooling, and yet I enjoyed it more than school.

FlyGuy45:

What classes did you take and how much did the tutor cost?

Azimuth:

I think this school is holding me back.  I'm stuck here learning Texas History (a skill I can not apply ANYWHERE unless I'm a Texas Historian), and often waiting 10 minutes for the rest of the class to finish.  Boring as hell, the only class that I might have problems with is Spanish because I'm not trying hard enough.

Packer:

Being a head of the class is a bonus, 10 minutes isn't long.
