Late last year I was put on homebound teaching for several months, it was fun and all but over that short time I fell behind because of the lack of work I was getting and the tutor they sent me was an idiot. It wasn't fun either, I missed the feeling of going to school and seeing all the people and being able to meet many more new people. I know people say they have friends in homeschool but school is one of the only ways to actually meet different kinds of people. You're not gonna see 1000 people a day 5 days a week at home, of course you can still make friends but public/private school still allows you to meet more people. |
