Yay, another person who still rides a scooter (I for one am to lazy to embarrass myself trying to figure out how to ride a bike without losing balance).
Crash story:
I was riding to my friend's house with my friend, trying to keep up with him because he had a bike. I slammed my front wheel into a little pot hole and scrapped my hand and flew forward a bit. What was funny was this little kid happened to see the whole thing and wouldn't stop starring at me. Anyway, I got up and was fine, and when I got to my friend's house he insisted that he put disinfectant stuff on the little scrape, then he sprayed Febreeze on it to "make it smell good". I thought the scrape was no big deal at first but then I started feeling light headed and thought it was because I lost a ton of blood without noticing. Turns out it was just because I inhaled a little bit of that Febreeze.
Coincidentally, I'm not friends with that kid anymore...

Once I was riding down a smallish hill on the blacktop on a scooter. I tested my luck a bit too much- I tried to turn back up while still on the hill, and the scooter (stupid cheap thing) slipped out from under me. Skinned hands, cut nees, bad morale.
Caution:
I was racing someone scooter versus bike, and I stupidly was doing scooter. I started going as fast as I could, hit a little rock off the tarmac and biffed it hard.
