To me, it seems like his plans are to use the case he already has instead of buying a new one.

It's a rising up tower btw.

Just because it is a "rising up" tower does not mean it is ATX.
Many computer manufacturers' computers have small cases that are MicroATX. For example, both my Compaq and Emachines computers are MicroATX.
