Still, most of the people I know the talk least get listened to the most. You've just conceded that despite being a regular that you have have no impact whatsoever.
EDIT: Just seems odd to me the someone that knows they are not very memorable would start a thread to find out if anyone really knows them ...unless that was your intention.

I notice myself doing it a lot too, however instead of thinking about how I'll come off to other people, I usually just think would I like this post of someone else posted it referring to me, basically following the golden rule :D.
