You ask either of them which way to go and they will answer one way or another, you go the opposite way they tell you.
For example, if 1 is tells the truth and I ask it which way 2 will tell me to go, 1 will say the wrong way because 2 is a liar.
If you ask 2, the liar, 2 will tell you to go the same way one would answer because he is lying.
In either case you go the opposite way.
