The problem with picking people for who they are is you don't know if what you see is really who they are.
I was once friends with a guy in my art class, and he was pretty nice. We became somewhat friends. Then, some of his friends were in the art class second semester, and he changed for the worse. He insulted me every chance he got, and did everything within his power to lower my self esteem and make me miserable. I now know how to have dealt with it, but at the time, I was new to being harassed. Nobody had ever hated me or been mean at all whatsoever to me in my life before that point because I was kind to everyone I met. I guess I learned lessons from that kid, and I can now brush off insults and harassment with ease, but I still hate him with a fiery passion, and will one day execute my revenge upon his poor, poor soul. Muahahahaha.

I question my friends on a daily basis, There's some kids that I enjoy the company of, and there is others that I enjoy the company of at school.

I can say the same, People here are richards, Most of them think they are better then everyone and they can have everything.
