| Wedge:
Logging the person who clears the ban lists in the console is a good idea, but I was thinking, what about an admin log that saves significant events like kicks, bans, admin logins, people failing the admin password, bricks cleared, map changes, server variable changes, etc, independent of the console log so it doesn't get erased every time you restart the game? |
| Ephialtes:
I have a feeling there are a few add-ons that already do this already. I think it would only be useful for the hardcore server hosters who want to know exactly what's going on with their server, while being quite irrelevant and useless for the average server host. |

As someone who successfully chosen admins who don't forget up the server, I have this to say about Wedge's idea: I wouldn't need that stuff because I know who I can trust and don't give a bunch of dropouts admin because they're my friends and expect everything to be all happy and clean when I come home from the hospital. However, a majority of the people would need this because they do said above things, and then often lied to about abuse. Some people stretching the truth and others denying it. |
