If the add-ons weren't being moderated then there would be way more of those.

The thing that annoys me is how the emitter and sound lists are flooded with "someCrappyVehicleSplashEmitte r" which is exactly the same as "jeepSplashEmitter" and so on.

The most helpful thing would be for someone to write a tutorial on how to avoid this which we can then redirect people to when reviewing add-ons as opposed to explaining the concept behind it each time.

I'll be making more changes to the scanner to identify these issues. Part of my v4 plan is to have a public-facing scanner output before you submit your file which highlights any outstanding issues like stereo sounds or missing textures and files. It'd be nice to be able to provide people with links to help them fix issues listed in the scanner output.

my 1st addon got stuck in the bargain bin, and id still like to know why so I dont make the same mistake next time.
