RTB Development
Ephialtes:
A lot of people are telling me things don't work in the recent update but not one single person has provided me with any other details apart from "it doesn't work" despite asking numerous people. I won't be patching anything until someone gets some evidence.

I had simmilar wierd connection issues just after updating to RTB 3.4. in a nutshell, my dedicated server would constantly freeze on startup with "got bad connected receive event".
So I disabled RTB (rename zip file) and it started just fine, and ran for 24hrs with no issues. The next day I downloaded RTB 3.4 off the website, put the zip file back, and things have been working fine ever since.
based on that, I suspect the auto-update did some kindof wierd corruption with the RTB zip file or mabye some of the settings.

Ephialtes:
The bad connected receive event is related to TCP/HTTP sim objects not existing by the time the socket they were attached to has disconnected/connected/whatever. I'm certain it wasn't caused by the updater because if there was any sort of transfer corruption the zip would be inaccessible. It was most likely some other coincidence.
I'm still working on getting someone to give me a useful debug of an instance where their server-joining capabilities have been hindered by RTB. I know of one case where any sort of transfer error will stop all downloading in the transfer queue and halt progress.
I'm going to add a "skip" button in v3.5 that users can click if they get bored or experience any errors during their loading which should make anything that crops up more manageable.
