Just finished the implementation of the chatroom system and tested it with someone. Once I get it fully sorted I'll push this out as another (possibly final) alpha. It's very basic at the moment - it just supports the basic necessities but I will work on getting it more fully fitted out during the course of the beta. There are a couple of seemingly random crash bugs happening at the moment which I can't seem to narrow down to any specific bit of code, or even replicate reliably. If you join the beta you will probably have to put up with this until I can find out what's causing it. |

I've got a new alpha prepared for a release this weekend for the alpha testers. This features chat rooms including per-room configurable settings. There's still a bit more to do functionality-wise with the chat rooms but it is at a releasable point right now. The crash bug still exists but I've had Badspot manage to replicate this on a debug build and it appears to be something out of my control at the moment. If he gets a fix together it should be in v20. I'll probably release a beta before then anyway, so you guys will have to just not complain about any random crashes. |
