I don't know if you've seen Flickr but the author can assign "tags" to the image which allows you to view similar images based on how well the tags match. It'd be an interesting thing to have (and I know tf2 has it) so I might look into it at some point.

Instead of having the server host create tags (god knows we'll get misspelled and inaccurate tags), have them choose from some, like Kevin said.

Theme tags would be neat.

Pre-defined ones would be a bit of a pain because RTB would have to be "in the know" about popular server themes and then be able to update the lists to reflect those. It might be worth populating the list of tags from a bunch of commonly used ones, plus a few default ones like Freebuild, Deathmatch etc.

I can see it now: snake tags! You know, like those weird videos from youtube.

But in all seriousness, I want a buddy system. :(
Ephialtes:
We've just hit a roadblock in the buddy system. Basically the server only accepts UTF-8 character encoding and I'm pretty sure there are no character encoding functions in Torquescript so only people with non-handicapped characters in their names will be able to login.

I'm going to look at a number of methods to bypass this since I don't really want to have to put some string encoding utilities into v15 because that'd delay us substantially.
