I think your mixing up your private and public Ip's. Your private IP is the IP address which is basically your computer. Your public IP on the other hand is what all the private IP's in your house use to connect to the internet. SO if you and Placid have the same public IP this problem will occur no matter what. It is impossible to have the same private IP though. |
