Go to Control Panel -> Check this computer's security status -> Other security settings -> turn off User Account Control. It will disable all that permission bullstuff, and as an added bonus, it lets you edit files directly in system folders so you don't have to save elsewhere, delete, copy, etc just to mod a game or whatever. The only side effect is that you'll get a nag window at the bottom right telling you that you should turn it on every time you start up your computer/log on, but that's insignificant. |

I can't seem to figure out HOW to turn user account control off. All I can find are "turn it back on because hackers turned it off" buttons. |
