Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, Johnny Cash, classics like Wolverton Mountain and the like. When it was good, wholesome, and not every song dealt with relationships and how they got forgeted over. But I do agree with entrepreneur in. Too many people listen to this rap stuff and think they're all ghetto and thuggish and they're not even black. The most handicapped examples I've seen are native kids and white teeny girls. So much for cultural identity.

Bluegrass not so much, it's more educated then country music.

Retz:

Country music isn't that baad.  At least people like it more than rap.

me and a friend called into a local rock station one day and complained about that kid rock song that is loving country. not rock at all. but people for some reason don't hear the country if they know its kid rock.
we were saying how they are sellouts and would play any stuff.

also another friend and me use to drive around alot and listen to this 80s station.
we always called in and requested the gogo's our lips our sealed, and they always made fun of us for it lol.
then when Hillary duff did her version of the song, they played it all the loving time and ruined it for us. no one requested it, its just some new pop stuff and they need to whore it to death.

loving radio, this is why i dont listen to it anymore

Too many people let their connotations guide their likes and dislikes, they hear kid rock and think rock, when a good amount of their songs are more country.
