Diggy's Metropolis Server

Wizzard1:
You might be surprised the terrain which can be built, at low brick count :)

Maybe I'll start up my own server, build a demo cityscape.
Niliscro:
I think the grapple should stay, but maybe the cost of it can be increased or the range of the rope decreased.

But keep a few good town buildings like the police station/bank/town hall/etc.

I remember when it was just the slums and trenton. (Was it treton or trenton?)
What happened to ace, wasn't he an admin too?

I'm sure tons of people would appreciate it if you would post such an archive, which contained the entire city with all events and stuff. I think it would also be nice if you would post the special bricks you added to your server so that we wouldn't be missing half the landscape when we loaded it.
Niliscro:
I think a mountain with a road winding up it would be neat, with lot spaces along the road and the museum or something at the top.
Wizzard1:
I'm thinking 4 metro areas, with different elevations-

Beachfront/Metro (Lowest elevation, HQs and City Hall)
Resedential/Forest (Resources, Homes, Forest, med elevation, waterfront is cliffs)
Commercial/Industrial (Sales, Industry, med height but far from the resedential)
Resedential/Archive builds (High elevation, lake/river separation from town, think Welsk)

In essence, a T shape- Top of the T is the ocean/lake, left tip is the resedential/forest, right tip is commerical/industrial, between the 2 is the beachfront/Metro, and the bottom is the higher-elevation new Welsk.
