I feel like their should be rules in place regarding lot hogs, rules that would be ignored if there was little demand for lots. I don't think that people should be able to plant a lot and build a stuffty little building on it to be sold. I also think that, if a person has more than 2 lots and another person, who wants one, has none they should have to choose a lot to give up.

Alright, here are the ever-true build rules with server rules.  Most of this is off of memory, except for the build rules which were saved.  On top of this, some new rules were added.  Also, there IS room for new rules, so by all means discuss any changes or additions you believe should be made.

* Build Rule #1: No spam. For example 2x1 brick walls, 1x1, 1x1x5, baseplate, or brick stacking.
* Build Rule #2: No looping heals, gravity mods, or spammy events.
* Build Rule #3: Tile floors are acceptable on areas smaller than 16x16 per build.  Similarly, brick patterns are only acceptable in moderation.
* Build Rule #4: No excessive or blinking lights. One regular light per floor max, 3 dim lights per floor max.
* Build Rule #5: All builds must be on the 16x16 grid established by the terrain.
* Build Rule #6: No flying addVelocity, kill bricks or traps. Some event damage is ok, but you must allow the player time to escape.
* Build Rule #7: Vehicle spawns MUST be in a covered garage, no spawns on roofs.
* Build Rule #8: No emitters that leave your lot into another lot, or excessive emitters.
* Build Rule #9: Abandoned Builds (over a week of no activity) will be demolished.
* Build Rule #10: Box builds (builds without windows or any shape other than a cube) will be demolished.
* Build Rule #11: No excessive use of brick FX such as undulo, rainbow, swirl, etc.


* Server Rule #1 :No killing/jailing/harassing players who have recently joined and haven't loaded bricks and objects yet.
* Server Rule #2: No killing/jailing/harassing admins that are building, helping players, or doing other admin duties.
* Server Rule #3: Players are allowed a maximum of 4 lots. Only one of each lot type is allowed, excluding commercial lots, of which you may have up to 2.
* Server Rule #4: Exploiting bugs, glitches, loopholes, etc., is punishable by a ban and/or account reset.  If you find a bug, REPORT IT.
* Server Rule #5: This is a ROLE PLAY server.  Random and pointless killing is frowned upon, and if done in excess will get you banned.


* Industrial Acres Rule #1: Industrial builds must be on Industrial lots and are ONLY allowed in Industrial Acres.
* Industrial Acres Rule #2: No instant-respawn lumber trees, or any other kind of resource manipulation.


* Finally, please use common sense.  Just because something is not on the rules doesn't mean you can't get banned for it.  This includes tricking players into becoming wanted, trapping players in some manner, stealing money via trust exploitation, etc.On a side note, there are still rules to be established for agriculture lots.

Also, Diggy:  Please respond to my email about tiering jobs so we can at least discuss it and possibly work something out.  Also, how final is the current city? (Just wondering if I should start doing touch-ups and banks and whatnot once the full server is up, or if I should wait for you to finish anything).[/list]
