| New 3D Printer |

It seems as though now there is a relatively cheap 3D printer out there, called the Cupcake CNC. This machine uses ABS plastic (Ironically the same stuff legos are made from), and is extremely durable. In the demo it even shows the people making salt and pepper shakers with the 3D modeling program thats included, with holes, gap and all. Straight from the printer they could put salt in the shaker and use it. Normally a machine like this would cost thousands, but this is the first affordable one, at $750. www.makerbot.com /Discuss |

Too bad it can't model out the invisible legz. D: But we can have a back, to support everything, so it APPEARS to be floating, when in reality it isnt. |
