thats funky.
It's very common in middle schools, high schools, and colleges. In fact, I haven't had a single school where I've had the same courses every day since 5th grade.
My high school worked on a schedule of 6 days (with a 5 day week).
It made no sense at all. If you had a class once a week, over the course of 5 weeks it'd be on a different day each week (until the 6th week, at which it'd be back on the day of the 1st week).
Fortunately, most classes worked on an every other day schedule, so for one week you'd have a class every monday/wednesday/friday and the next you'd have it tuesday/thursday. Science labs were always only one day out of the schedule though, so you had to pay attention to them.
I'm not going to bother posting my current schedule, but I'm currently taking (in alphabetical order by course number):
Architectural Presentation
Mechanics of Structures
Architectural Design
Working Drawings I
Mechanical and Electrical Systems
Wellness and Fitness
