If you meant that using sharp mind is only meant to speed up the time it takes to kill a mob as opposed to depending on it to figure which attack a mob is using, then I apologize. I was gonna complaint about how that 1 time out of 10 in between the 60 goblin/kobold per solo run is gonna screw you over, then I realized we got our game goddess named Nao (I love her revive's too) and that's a moot point, though it still gets annoying.

No, that was not exactly my point. It takes 2 second to charge the smash skill (wait, is Kita good enough to figure out the exact time it takes to charge defence as opposed to smash? o_O) and during that 2 second, a kobold/goblin might cancel the skill, or stand there and do nothing. And there's absolutely no way a player can figure out what kobold/goblin is doing within that 2 second its charging a skill. (Unless you really can find the difference between 1.5 second and 2 second X_X then sharp mind really is completely useless) And 2 second makes a difference, especially with multi-mobbing for the goblin and kobolds, that is why I don't even N1 them anymore, just 2hit and immediately charge a lightning bolt. (If its not dead due to poor balance, I finish it off with a bolt and counter, if it is dead, I attack with that bolt)

Then there are mobs that are just as likely to defend as opposed to counter, and are caster as well. (I am thinking of an imp in this case) Solo them is easy, but every time you see them use a skill, its a wildcard of which one it will be, defense or counter. (Except lightning, but 2 second is a good test of your reaction time) You can bolt it and then counter of course, but unless your right next to it, lightning is gonna screw you over. (or scratch you for 6)
