G8 is next, G7 is the latest one.
Anyway Slugger - Ruairi, Im not really that high skilled, considering my guild doesn't do many dungeon runs anymore.

Weird symbol + previews of next gen = new gen VERY soon. I'm guessing 1-2 weeks.

Bump, want to know what melee weapon I should get, and what would be better, should I train archery and melee or mage and melee? Im thinking archery melee.

Depends on your fighting style.
Daggers are faster, but do less damage
Broadsword/gladius are more common weapons
two handers and claymores are used very little right now, since dual wielding does more damage, but in G8 they will get a damage boost for smash.
I'd say melee/magic, range is kind of hard for beginners.
But no matter what you do, windmill should be your highest priority, all the way to rank 1.
As well as rank 1 refine before any other +dex skills, such as life skills or ranged skills.

Personally I leaned towards a 'mage' build. The only problem is it's horrible for soloing and for any powerful monster you will end up using melee. So I have quite a bit of magic skills and now starting to rank up a few combat skills.
