| A request for an STS-BL space shuttle. |

I just thought we should update the old shuttle. Here's how I would think it should work. You are in the shuttle with the SRB's and External tank attatched while facing directly up to the sky. You press the up button to go up and you can steer the whole thing around but it would have to tilt slowly, when you pilot the rocket.You press the left mouse button to release the SRB's and External tank. They all go off at the same time. Then you have a free flight with the shuttle. The rockets would have to either just fall to the ground or just fade away. I think it would be cool to just have a spectator watch an external tank fall at an extremely high speed lol. I wouldn't really mind for the SRB's to fade though. If anyone doesn't know what an SRB or External tank is, the SRB's are the two side rockets SRB btw means Solida rocket boosters, and the External tank is the giant orange tank that has the shuttle and SRB's connected to it. I would also like the shuttle to look more like a shuttle and not like the other one where it had windows on the side. I call it the "BLASA STS-BL". BLASA would mean Block Land Aeronautics and Space Administration. Well I just thought it would be cool to update the shuttle. Here's an image. Sorry about the large image. :/ |

I was going to post a topic in discussion but I decided to just write it here, The SRBS and External Tank will how no set key they will be bindable by player, I intend to add a key that will thrust shuttle faster then the average speed for tale off, Also adding sounds to the take off like a countdown and such. I am also going to add sounds, All keys will be bindable so player has the option as to which to use. Now for the more important detail I started the shuttle model, I have the Tank nearly finished. |
