If your kitten off the port bow animation had sound, I would tell you to make the next Adventures of Valen and Khorde >:D

I can add sound. It was the first "Animation Complication" i ever made. It was some time around when Dread showed me his "Baffle stuff" which i had to make "Ship" for school censorship reasons

Your monster head reminds me of sonic the hedgehog. D:D?

Yeah, Green Sonic :D

I also have an awesome animation i made, with sound. But I cant find a place to Upload it to.

I wouldn't really consider that "yours" considering it looks like you just drew over it.

I ment as in My Copy and the Original Picture.
 D:

Never copy from somebody else's art. Copy from real world objects. If you do fan art, don't reference it to the point where it's either just a direct copy, or the style itself was copied. Be original where you can and trust me, you will get a lot more points for it. If you have trouble anywhere in some sort of object or anatomy, then it's time to refer to real world objects or people and draw those until it makes sense.

Put it this way, would you rather be an imitator or a unique artist? The only thing copying another artwork directly is going to teach you, is how to draw like somebody else. It's not very valuable and you can learn so much more if you just copy from real world objects instead, and keep your fan art original and unique if you even choose to make fan art.

At least you showed us what you did though. I always hate it when people copy a drawing and then try to hide that the other drawing existed, to try to make people thing they made it up. Copying real people or objects is OK, because those weren't drawn before, so the person actually learns something.

The other drawings are pretty nice, but to be honest, much like Mr Cookie's, they are rather simple. However, you guys do at least know how to keep things with that clean look, which means you know your limits and can make good use of what you can do. Just don't be afraid to experiment and risk having an ugly drawing, yet more complicated. Otherwise, all you'll ever make are these simple drawings. Again, they aren't bad, but they are sorta just there. They do have an appeal, but it's not enough to get me interested.

Trashman, you do realise that you constantly restate your point, or just babble on about useless things, within those giant paragraphs, right?  You could simplify it by a stuffload.

Another lecture by yours truly.  :cookieMonster:

Copying/"learning" from other artwork = bad thing
Drawning out things that haven't been drawn, with your own style = good thing
Not being afraid of a failure, and learning from them = good thing
Knowing your limits, and exploring them = good thing

Never copy from somebody else's art.

Yet you draw Midna all the time.

I don't copy it. Did you not read my post? I said don't copy it and be original if you do fan art. Learn to read a post.

Edit: Seriously, it's getting kinda hopeless with some of you. You don't read posts, and you say the stupidest things ever. I'm not going to simplify posts for people who can't even read before they post.

I'll explain it further just in case you do-not-un-der-stand. The bad kind of Fan Art is when somebody gets a picture that was already drawn, and then they just recreate it. It's bad even if they change a few things. I don't do this, and I never will.

You have to simplify it for them because they're too lazy to read the whole thing.

Trashman's point:  Don't copy artwork.  You can reproduce designs of characters/places/items, but don't copy the actual piece itself.

I like the dinos, make more of them.

Never copy from somebody else's art.

Not my decision. I had to do it for my Animation Class and it had to be an Exact copy.

I'll remove my Mickey Copy, since its causing problems.
