Author Topic: Old Man Mask -WIP-  (Read 2448 times)

A mask I am creating, of an old person. Once I'm done, I will mold it with alginate and plaster bandages, and paint the mask, with acrylic paint. The mask will either be latex or silicone. I use oil based clay, and only a couple tools. The base I put the mask on is a life-cast of my uncle's friend, made from ultra cal plaster. It is finer, making it more accurate and stronger. I made the nose bigger, chin stand out more, wrinkles, and everything you see there.

I would love some constructive criticism. I need to make this better.
This is how I'm making my mask:
Make the shape, then smooth it, then add tiny detail.
I'm doing the forms right now, so don't say anything about how it's not smooth enough, or it needs more detail.

Pictures taken with my father's iPhone.

You make too many stuffs.

B-but.. I like to make stuff. D:

That's loving awesome, the only thing is that the nose seems to be tilted to the left.

Fixed, but I'm not going to put new picture until I make a huge change.

Doesn't look nearly creepy enough. Give 'em a scar over his left eye.

mmkay. now wear it and take a picture :D

I'm just trying to make an old man. Not a villain.
