Its better because it is, basically that's was just what you said. PS3 has free online community (If you have an internet connection) unlike Xbox where you have to pay.

Now that PS3 is only $299, I'd go with that, it has a lot of great games from older consoles versions.

Well I just love the xbox 360 and in my opinion it is better than the PS3 but again it's just MY OPINION. So.... Choose what you want and this one kind of a dumb topic because you mine as well asked them whether roblox is better than blockland or whether mac is better than pc and vise versa. PS3 or Xbox 360 don't have good graphics, they just have high prossesing power to play HD games. Both are amazing but if you like to watch movies go download mods for games and free online play then its a PS3.

I own both the PS3 and Xbox 360.

In my opinion, They both suck.

360: Why? Xbox Live. It's bullstuff that you have to pay for that stuff.
You're already buying crap off of it. Why pay of the service?

PS3: Most games are ports, Crappy ports. And the master servers crash.
Yeah yeah, the online is free. But the connection sucks.
And i even have FiOS. Don't blame me, Blame the sony servers.

That's the thing though. I never mistreated them at all.
The PS2s were the only things to break. All 3 of them.
My SNES, Sega, PS1, N64, GC, Xboxes, Xbox360 all never broke.

I have no idea why your PS2 might have broken.
I have the phat version and I admit it's taken a beating in the last 6 years. (Falling off chairs, tables, TV's, you know how it is)
Yet the worst problem I've had was getting dust on the laser, which was an easy fix. The things loving bombproof. :D

I can't really make an opinon, as I have never had a PS3, but I am very satisfied with my 360, and I love all of the games that come out on it, and the Xbox LIVE service is really great.

The graphics are good, but there are some games on the PS3 that have really, really good graphics (okay, not some, just one, Uncharted 2, but meh)
