Random Disconnects & Hyped Up Game?

Pages: (1/1)

Pyrle:

First, the random disconnects. This is on my vista laptop (model 'Vostro 1700', I think). Almost all the time, when Blockland is active, my computer just disconnects from everything. From the internet and from the network, too. I can't connect back to the network until I restart the computer.

Next, the hyped up game. This is on my new desktop. It has Windows XP. I'm not sure what the brand is, 'WinFast' Maybe? I probably don't NEED to tell you it anyway because I think it did this in any XP computer. The game goes so fast that I can not even control where I am going. I can walk off the edge of slate in about 1-2 seconds (Epic lols). Again, this probably happens on most XP computers.

And those are my problems. Please answer them as quickly as possible. I can barely play Blockland on my laptop, and I can't play at all on my XP. As soon as I find the answer, I'm gonna lock the topic.

doesn't happen on my XP, and there used to be a topic about degrading your drivers or something

Wireless isn't that great for computers, in my opinion. I would get disconnected very often with the computer being in the same room as the router.

No, this has to do with your processor, not XP. I don't even know how you come to think an OS determines your game's speed.
If you have an AMD Dual Core Processor, download this: http://www.blockland.us/files/AMD-Dual-Core-Optimizer-1.1.4.exe
Only if you have an AMD Dual Core Processor.

Doomonkey:

Wait wat. I have an AMD dual core and I have never heard of this optimizer thing. My BL runs fine.

Pyrle:
