Hosting LAN not Internet?

During this past week, I was hosting my server and nobody was joining. So, I went to my other computer to see if my server was up. Sadly, my server wasn't even on the list. So I was like "What did I screw up this time?" Then, I clicked on Query LAN, only to be dumbfounded that my server was there. Why is it that when I try to host an Internet game, it hosts a LAN game instead?

Deriboy:

Are you positive that you clicked "internet" and not "LAN" on the start game window?

It will appear to be a LAN game from any computer in your LAN (Local Area Network), or so I believe. The best way to check is just to call it something stupid like free admin and see if anyone joins  :cookieMonster:   Or you could just ask a friend to check it.... But that would be stupid :3

I am 100% positive I have it set to Internet.

Heh, I already tried naming it "Fun Family RP" to see if newbies would come, but no luck. :(

EDIT: I'm not sure why, but I played around with my router and it worked so :D
