Port forwarding for mac

What is the IP adress, i know what an IP is but not the adress

I have a mac, but I never had to do any of this. I just started a internet game and it was live and not dead

Wireless doesn't change the fact that you have DSL or Cable.
Wireless and wired are your network connections. DSL and Cable are your internet connections.
Mac doesn't change port forwarding either.
