Because we like TF2, Half-life, and Portal, and otherwise all Valve products. We however do not like Bungie.
When i saw 'we' i mean a majority of the community.

OR, just a thought, how about those people who LIKE Halo can download it/make it and the people who DON'T like it can NOT download it?
