because t...uh, it would look cool? they probably made an airsoft revolver for the same reason they made every other gun, to do stuff. for example, you cant be a wild west cowboy with a USP, now can you? and nor can you be a spy with a colt... unless its shiney and has a silencer.

That's a dumb question, that's like asking why we still use revolvers at all.
1. Almost impossible to jam, extremely reliable.
2. They look cool.
3. Tend to be more accurate.

Although the primary reason would probably be aesthetics when dealing with airsoft.
