What does "VCE callFunction" do?

In the VCE addon, there is a new event called "VCE_callFuntion" I know that the first parameter is the Stated Function to be called, but what on Earth does the 2nd parameter do?

It's not in V5, it's in V6, and currently, only Destiny works on the project, and I haven't seen him in a week or two.
